The proposal looks forward to optimize the building’s functionality, guarantying its flexibility and to renew its aesthetical representativeness while preserving its original structure; all of this considering with particular attention its energetic efficiency and acoustic isolation quality.
The commercial area, sportive shops and museum are located inside the elliptic volume’s perimeter, while the inner part is consecrate to multifunctional activities like area for concerts and sportive events. The external Piazza protected by the new cantilevered roof is conceived as an internal activities extension area able to function as an open public place for social gathering and open air activities such as: skateboard park, market area, sport’s cages or jogging route.
